How to report copyright infringement on the Mana Enterprises website, and how we respond.
1. Our approach
Mana Enterprises respects intellectual property rights. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and, where the complainant is based in the United States, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
2. Sending a notice
Send a written notice to simusaib1996@gmail.com that includes:
- Your name, address, phone and email
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed
- The exact page address (URL) where the material appears on our site
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, the owner's agent or the law
- A statement, made in good faith, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. What we do
After a complete notice, we review it and may remove or disable access to the material while we look into it. We may tell the person who supplied the material about the notice.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake, write to simusaib1996@gmail.com with the page address, a statement that you believe in good faith that the removal was an error, and your contact details and signature. We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action.
5. Repeat infringers
We may stop doing business with people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
6. False claims
Knowingly sending a false notice or counter-notice can have legal consequences, including liability for damages.
